A view of the Palladian south front of Wilton House, a Grand I listed building near Salisbury. It was published as one of a set of six views of country seats by Luke Sullivan (1705-71). Other editions were published with Thomas Bowles and Robert Wilkinson as the first name in the list of publishers.

View from the rivers edge, looking towards the York Buildings waterworks, with the York Watergate in the foreground; illustration to Malton's 'Picturesque Tour'. The watergate still stands in Victoria Embankment Gardens, obviously now defunct.
