The English fleet attacking the Spanish Armada in the Strait of Dover, at the Battle of Gravelines, 28th July, 1588. This later state has the Isle of Wight engraved east of Dover! Probably after Frans Hogenberg (1535-90), engraver of the Ortelius atlas and the Braun and Hogenberg townplans, who also produced broadsheets on the French and Netherlandish religious wars from 1569, continued after his death by his son Abraham.

A noble lady wearing a Spanish dress, in a richly decorated interior. Printed by Nicolas Bonnart (c. 1637 - 1718), the son of Henri Bonnart. He was largely active between 1664-70 and moved his printing business to St. Jacques Rue in 1674.

A portrait of two Spanish soldiers with tall hats. A plate from the Rev. William Bradford's 'Sketches of the country, character and costume in Portugal and Spain' first published in 24 parts between 1809 and 1810 published in the aftermath of the Peninsula War the series was hugely popular and it was re-issued in 1812 1813 and 1823.
