The enemy did not surrender until she had lost 46 killed and 20 wounded, and caused a loss to the British of 3 killed and 13 wounded. After marine painter William John Huggins (1781 - 1845), who began his working life as a seaman with the East India Company. He exhibited at the Royal Academy and was given royal patronage for his work.
