An engraving of a sculpture by Mrs Anne Seymour Damer (1749-1828), published in the rare work 'A Series of Engravings from the Works of The Hon. Anne Damer'. An engraving of a sculpture by Mrs Anne Seymour Damer (1749-1828), published in the rare work 'A Series of Engravings from the Works of The Hon. Anne Damer'. She gave this sculpture to Horace Walpole who displayed it at Strawberry Hill. Damer was an honorary exhibitor at the Royal Academy 1784-1818. Walpole described her as a 'female genius'.
