Portrait of Timpoochee Barnard (c.1783- c.1841), chief of the Yuchi Indians, a constituent tribe of the Creek Nation, and served as a member of the Creek National Council. His father was Timothy Barnard, a well-known and highly respected trader to the Creek Nation who also served as interpreter for U. S. agent Benjamin Hawkins.

John George Lambton, 1st Earl of Durham (1792 - 1840), standing in front of a curtain, directed to front, facing towards the left. He holds a book upright on a table with his right hand, next to document. Having inherited an immense fortune, he gained the nickname 'Jog Along Jack' when. after being asked what was an adequate income for an English gentleman, he replied 'that a man might jog along comfortably enough on £40,000 a year', an equivalent of nearly two millions pounds at modern values. He was MP for County Durham for 16 years from 1813, and was appointed Lord Privy Seal in 1830 when his father-in-law, Lord Grey, became prime minister. Between 1835 and 1837 he served as Ambassador to Russia. The following year, Lambton became Governor-General of Canada, where he was known as 'Radical Jack', and subsequently lauded in English -Canadian history for his recommendation to introduce responsible government and recommending the union of Upper and Lower Canada.

John, Lord Perceval, second Earl of Egmont (1711-70), elected as an independent 1741. He leans on his expensively-produced family history. Above him an allegorical figure of Fame trumpets from both ends. In the background are Whitehall and the equestrian statue of Charles I. He was not a successful politician, and is now chiefly remembered as one of the founders of the American colony Georgia in 1732.
