Shown are the duke of the Brabant, (future Leopold II, 1835 - 1909, best known for the scandalous nature of his colony in the Congo); his brother Prince Philippe, Count de Flandre (1837 - 1905); and his sister the Princess Charlotte (1840 - 1927), the future Empress of Mexico.

Rev. George William Hill (1770-1843) was Master of Pembroke College, Oxford (1809-1843) and Vice-Chancellor of Oxford University (1820-1824). George Hall was educated at Abingdon School, and he was a fellow at Lincoln College and Pembroke College in Oxford.
