Portraits of two Maori elders, from 'New Zealand Graphic and Descriptive. The Illustrations by C.W. Barraud'. Charles Decimus Barraud (1822-97) emigrated to New Zealand in 1849, opening a pharmacy in Wellington with such success that he opened branches in other towns.
