A caricature portrait of Jack Adams, known as "the cunning man of Clerkenwell Green", an astrologer, at a table drawing a horoscope for Joan, Queen of Sluts, a tobacco pipe tucked into his belt. In the lower right corner, a man asks "Is she a princess": this is John Carleton who married the Mary Carleton, a serial marital fraudster known as "the German princess," in 1663.
