Coloured lithograph with gum arabic highlights, very rare & fine. Printed area 320 x 270mm, 12½ x 10½". Tear from bottom edge, glue stains to coners
The matador Francisco Montes Reina (1804-1851), painted with cigar in hand by Antonio Cavanna. Nicknamed Paquiro, Montes introduced the 'Traje de Luz', the bullfighter's suit still worn today.
