A religious scene showing St Anthony of Padua and the miracle of the irascible son. The miracle tells of of a young man who kicked his mother, in response he was told he deserved to have his leg cut off which he did in remorse. His mother, horrified at what he had done prayed that the boy be healed a miracle that St Anthony performed. An engraving after a fresco by Titian in the Scuola del Santo Padua commissioned in 1510. One of 53 engravings in a series called 'Opera Selectiora',
