Thomas Sutton (1532 - 1611), founder of the Charterhouse. One of a series of forty-five plates of portraits of the Founders of Oxford and Cambridge colleges, the Royal Exchange, and Charterhouse. By John Faber the Elder (c.1660 - 1721), portrait miniaturist and mezzotinter, born in Holland.
