I hereby Certify, that Mr. Francis Cole surgn diligently attended two courses of my Lectures on the theory & practice of Midwifery, & the diseases of Women & Children-That he also attended the Westminster Lying-in Hospital for the space of four months, where he had frequent opportunities, not only of delivering Women in natural & difficult Labours, but also of seeing the Method of treating the various Diseases to which Women are liable after Delivery; and that he is in every respect well qualified to exercise the art & science of Midwifery.
