Oliver Cromwell (1599-1658), Lord Protector of England, after the painting by after Samuel Cooper. Proof before title, published in Amsterdam, later included in the 'Heads of Illustrious Persons of Great Britain' published in folio in London by Knapton between 1743 and 1752. With the collector's stamp of M Hornibrook (1874-1949). Extremely rare and fine.
