A half-length portrait in oval of Sir Edward Lutwyche (1634-1709), who was dismissed as a judge of Common Pleas and returned to the Bar. In April 1693 he refused the oaths and was fined 40s. The frontispiece to his 'Un livre des entries', court reports of the period 1683-1704, including pleadings and the courts' resolutions of the issues.
