A three-quarter seated portrait of Charles Pratt (1714-94), in his robes. He was Chief Justice of Common Pleas (1761-6), Lord Chancellor (1766-70). The portrait originally depicted Thomas Burnett, another Justice of the Court of Common Pleas.
