A copy of a satirical medal struck in the Netherlands circa 1655 to ridicule the subservience of the French and Spanish kings to Oliver Cromwell. The 'heads' side has a roundel portrait of Cromwell in armour; the 'tails' has Cromwell kneeling with his head on Britannia's lap, his bottom exposed for them to kiss. A re-engraved copy of a print from c.1739.
