A view of the exterior of Newby Hall in North Yorkshire, as remodelled by William Weddell (1736-92), including interiors by Robert Adam, to house his collection of Roman antiquities. After his death owners included Lord Grantham, his nephew, and the 2nd Earl of Ripon. The present owners are matrilineal descendants of William Weddell. The hall was used as a location for ITV's production of Jane Austen's 'Mansfield Park' in 2007.
