The Temple of Antoninus and Faustina in the Roman Rorum, dedicated to Antonius Pius (emperor from 138 to 161) and his consort Faustina. Although the building was given a baroque façade in the 16th century the original pronaos of 56ft columns still survives.
The first state, before the plate number, issued unbound. From an early 19th century folder titled 'Roman Engravings. The Property of Major E.G.G. Rugdon[?]'.
