A monument with a bronze statue of Sir Henry Havelock (1795-1857), famed for the relief of Cawnpore and Lucknow, erected in 1861 in Mowbray Park in Sunderland. On the statue the inscription gives the correct date of Havelock's death: 24 November 1857.
