Pair of rare aquatints. Plate 360 x 480mm (14¼ x 19"), with large margins, & sheet 360 x 485mm (14¼ x 19"). 'Hardy's Grove' trimmed within plate, repairs off image on left.
Two views of Norwich. Bishop Bridge from the banks of the River Wensum, built in 1340 and stlll in use, making it one of the oldest active bridges in England. Also a view looking down on Norwich Cathedral from a field above the city. Robert Ladbrooke (1768-1842), a painter and drawing master at Norwich, founded the Norwich Society of Artists in 1803 with John Crome and James Sillett.
