John Egerton, 3rd Earl of Bridgewater (1646 - 1701), First Lord of the Admiralty; in an oval, wearing wig, lace cravat, armour, sash and medal. The collector's stamp is of Reverend J. Burleigh James, whose collection of prints, which included Dürers et Rembrandts, was sold by Sothebys in 1877, taking 25 days and raising over £4200.
