The scene shows Controller General of the Finances of France, John Law, riding on a donkey which is being fired at by a deamon. Scores of men pull the donkey into a building labelled 'Quinquenpoix' which was the street on which the Compagnie des Indes was located. Behind the donkey a crowd of men chase after.
