A Dutch satirical print commenting on the disaterous effects of the collapse of the South Sea Bubble. One figure is shown digging up carrots, one drunkard rides a pig which, like the cow in the foreground, vomits stock certificates. A large house in the background has a large flag which states 'De Kompany is vol' or 'The Company is closed'. This refers to the East India Company which had been hit hard by the market collapse.
