The Battle of Blenheim (13 August 1704), fought in Blindheim, Germany, in which Allied forces ensured the safety of Vienna from the Franco-Bavarian army. From a series of 'the victorious battle of the immortal prince John duke of Marlborough'. John Churchill, first duke of Marlborough, was one of the two Allied commanders.
