Thomas Rotherham (1423-1500), archbishop of York. Rotherham was a benefactor of the universities in both Oxford and Cambridge - he was chancellor of Cambridge and master of Pembroke from 1480, and co-founder of Lincoln College Oxford (which had been founded by Bishop Richard Flemming in 1427).
