A contemporary map of the theatre of the Revolutionary War around Charleston, as Sir Henry Clinton and Charles Cornwallis were besieging the city. Major General Benjamin Lincoln surrendered Charleston and 5,000 troops on 12th of May, less than seven weeks before this map was published. Published in the 'Political Magazine', a monthly newspaper.
