A view of the church of the Santissima Trinità dei Monti, often called merely the Trinità dei Monti in Rome. It is best known for its commanding position above the Spanish Steps which lead down to the Piazza di Spagna. Robert Charles Goff (1837–1922) was a printmaker and painter who specialised in topographical scenes, strongly influenced by the work of James McNeill Whistler. Brighton and Hove Museum and Art Gallery hold a large collection of Goff's work.
