Rare frame label, 115 x 85mm (4½ x 3¼"), on reverse of contemporary frame with a maritime watercolour. Label scraped, with loss of text.
Frame label of a framemaker of Norwich. The British Museum has a trade card of William Freeman (1813 - 1897) of London Lane, probably the next generation. The watercolour is a scene of a British warship and cutter before a mountainous headland.
