A background of leaves with gargolyes either side of the title. One of twelve woodcuts from the series 'Some Woodcuts of Men of Letters', by British sculptor and printmaker Robert Bryden (1865 - 1939). Lettered in the image with the title and with the printmaker's monogram: 'RB. opus III'.
