A view with figures and dogs in the grounds of Greenwich Hospital, designed by Christopher Wren, and built between 1696 and 1712. The hospital closed in 1869. Between 1873 and 1998 it was the Royal Naval College, Greenwich. A plate to Malton's 'Picturesque Tour', 1792 - 1801. Thomas Malton (1748 - 1804) was an architectural watercolourist and teacher of Thomas Girtin and Joseph Mallord William Turner; also an aquatinter, notably after his own designs of London views.
