Portrait printed from an oval plate, by Thomas Worlidge (1700 - 1766), 'the English Rembrandt' and a pupil of Alessandro Maria Grimaldi, whose daughter Arabella he married. Posthumous impression after Worlidge's widow Mary issued new impressions in 1767 with the number '124' added upper centre to correspond with the catalogue of his prints she produced.
