Self-portrait of Peter Paul Rubens (1577-1640) the Flemish Baroque painter, diplomat and proponent of the extravagant Baroque style that emphasised movement, colour and sensuality. Etched by Thomas Worlidge, the 'English Rembrandt' who reproduced prints by earlier artists, particularly Rembrandt. Early impression.
