Etching, with large margins; sheet 165 x 125mm (6¼ x 5").
Excellent early impression of an etching by Thomas Worlidge (1700-66). After Worlidge's death, his plates were sold at auction and Robert Pollard re-published this print in 1790 after having aquatint added to the plate. Born in Peterborough, Worlidge was a pupil of Alessandro Maria Grimaldi, whose daughter Arabella he married.
