Two mandrills, found in southern Cameroon, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea and Congo. They mostly live in tropical rainforests and forest-savanna mosaics. They are closely related to the baboon and drill. Friedrich Wilhelm Kuhnert (1865-1926), the German painter, author and illustrator who specialised in animal images.
