The Battle of Cap-Francais, the naval engagement during the Seven Years' War fought outside the harbour of Cap-Francais, Saint Dominique. The battle had been indecisive, but the British fleet under Commodore Arthur Forrest was praised for its courage and tenacity in engaging a superior force.
