A girl holding up a mouse in a cage trap, watched by a cat standing on a table to left; large urn behind to right, landscape with cottage through window at left. After Sir Joshua Reynolds's (1723 - 1792) 'Muscipula'; from a series of designs for transfer on to pottery by the innovative publisher William Spooner (1833 - 1847; fl.).
