Stipple printed in brown ink, very rare. Plate 316 x 350mm. 12½ x 13¾". Trimmed close to platemark.
A well-dressed woman standing with her two daughters and her black servant outside the cottage of a poor woman kneeling at the door with her baby in her arms, her hand outstretched towards one of the rich girls, from whom she appears to be taking money.
