Large engraved admission ticket to a Dinner/Entertainment at the Guildhall, City of London. Numbered ('No 240') and signed in pen mss. Sheet 335 x 440mm, 13¼ x 17¼". Fold creases, as normal.
The ticket has been used, as evidenced by the detached lower left corner. The elaborate design features allegorical female figures, Neptune, putti, a flag and various symbols; in background a Thames scene showing St Paul's and London Bridge to left, and a fleet of ships to right.
