Cupid with quiver of arrows and bow distributing illustrated song sheets or ballads from a lettered sack slung over his shoulder; in a mythical seaside landscape with figures clambering over distant mountains beyond. This seems to be promotional printing for Samuel Williams Fuller and brother Joseph Carr Fuller's ‘Temple of Fancy’, where they operated between 1809-1854 as publishers, printsellers and stationers, manufacturers, and artists' colourmen. It became one of the leading print publishing businesses of Regency and early Victorian London.
