Portrait short half length, in oval, directed towards right, facing towards and looking to front, long wig, lace cravat, collar, badge, and George medal. King George II (1683-1760) was King of Great Britain and Ireland, Duke of Brunswick-Luneburg and Archtreasurer and Prince-elector of the Holy Roman Empire from 1727 until his death. In 1705 he married Caroline of Brandenburg-Anspach.
