Portrait of William Woodward (d.1692), Nonconformist Minister at Leominster; long white hair, wearing cap and black coat with wide sleeves. Previously Woodward was a tutor at Christ Church, and vicar of Whitchurch, in the diocese of Hereford; but he was ejected, and travelled to Turkey, after which he left the Anglican Church and became a nonconformist. After Jeremiah Taverner (fl. c.1690 - 1706).
