Portrait of Charles I, whole-length, wearing robes and chain, kneeling before a table on which there is an open book, one foot on a globe, holding a crown of thorns; crown on floor beside globe; above, cloud and crown of glory with rays directed to the king's eye; pillar in the background. To the right, four heads of wind blow about a ship on a choppy ocean. After Philip Fruytiers (1610-1666).
