Summer: a woman holding a basket of fruit and small bunch of cherries in her right hand; a servant boy stands behind her holding up a parasol to protect her from the sun. Autumn: a lady, with ears of wheat in her hair, holds out a bowl in which a young girl places a bunch of grapes. Winter: a lady warms her hands over a small fire, with a girl standing to her right holding firewood over her head, poised to throw it onto the fire.
