Three soldiers capturing a young man, his kneeling lover clutching his arm, the scene watched by two monks standing in the left foreground, one shaking his fist in encouragement, and another soldier at right. Dedication to the Countess of Sutherland (owner of the drawing) to lower margin. After Henry William Bunbury (1750 - 1811).
