Possibly a portrait of politician Francis Wemyss-Charteris-Douglas, 8th Earl of Wemyss (1818 - 1914)? An original sketch by Count Alfred Guillaume Gabriel d'Orsay (1801 - 1852), Paris-born artist and gentleman of fashion.
