Large admission ticket to a Dinner/Ball at the Mansion House, City of London, April 15th 1805. Etching with stippling in brown ink to thick wove, 200 x 255mm. 8 x 10". Fold creases as normal; lower right corner lacking, indicating ticket has been redeemed. Some foxing.
Three winged putti supporting a shield/crest; musical instruments and mayor's sceptre immediately behind. Numbered 'No 131' in ink to upper left margin, (part of) signature of issuing officer lower right. Dinner hosted by Peter Perchard, Lord Mayor of London. After William Marshall Craig (c.1765 - c. 1834).
