[29 scenes of events on three sheets.]

Three engravings, stitched together. Each c. 490 x 560mm, 19¼ x 22". Edges chipped, folded down centre, a few stains. With Cyrillic library stamps on verso of two plates, the third with labels attached on verso.
Three sheets, each with nine scenes relating to a single year: 1725, 1723 & 1712. The 1725 sheet shows European royalty, including: the death of Tzar Peter I; the accession of his wife Catherine I; and Emperor Charles VI of Austria and King Philip V of Spain signing the Treaty of Vienna on April 30th. The 1723 sheet has: the birth of the Princess Mary (5 March - 1772); and the coronation of Charles VI as king of Hungary, Croatia and Bohemia in Prague, September 5th (despite ruling since 1711). The 1712 sheet has the peace conference that led to the Treaty of Utrecht the following year, ending the War of the Spanish Succession; the coronation of Charles VI as King of Hungary, Croatia and Bohemia, in Pressburg; and the birth of Pedro, Prince of Brazil, heir of the royal House of Braganza.
