A rare engraving. Plate 375 x 248mm. 14¾ x 9¾". Some scuffing.
As early as 1713 the Charity Children of London, some thousands of them, attended a service of thanksgiving under the Dome at St Paul's Cathedral. This became an annual event until the practice was ended after the 1870s rearrangement of the Quire.
