Unidentified (German) sitter, standing three-quarter length, with beard and in robes; right hand stoking a hound. 'Arthur Wildau' stamp to verso. Probably the work of Andreas Paul Multz (c.1650 - 1680; active), portrait painter, engraver and mezzotinter at Nuremberg.
