A Scottish terriers sitting on a cobbled stone floor, leaning against a wall. Lillian Cheviot (British, fl.1894 - 1920 ) studied at Calderon's School of Animal Painting and Walter Donne's Life School. She had many distinguished patrons and produced many illustrations for The Graphic magazine as well as other magazines. She exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1895-1899.
